After you login to our website using a valid username and password provided to you on subscribing to this product you will see the screen below –
 
 
In this window when you click on PPA link, then the following window will open –
 
 

In this screen above from the top you will be able to see the following things –

  1. Newsletter date – date for which the newsletter is available
  2. Show Newsletter Button – which when clicked will open the newsletter having the view for the markets along with index levels for the Sensex and the Nifty.
  3. Print – to be used when you want to take a print of this newsletter
 
Below this there are Stock Recommendations. Under which you will see the following –

Out of the three buttons – Open Positions, Closed Positions and Modified Positions the selection will be displayed above these buttons as in the above case it is showing ‘Open positions’.

And next to it there is a –

Filter = displays whether the recommended stock or stocks are for ‘Today’ or for some other period

Open Positions = recommended stocks where the position is still open

Closed Positions = stock where the position has closed either in profit or in a loss

Modified Positions = stock in which the view has changed, means the stop loss has been modified or the target has been revised or the strategy has been changed

Below the stock recommendations table there is an index for searching stocks which reads as –

‘Filter Stocks where name starts with’

This is for searching and checking the status of the stock which you are interested in.

Understanding the Stock Recommendation Table –
 
  1. Reco. Date – the date when the recommendation was given
  2. Stock Symbol – the symbol of the recommended stock
  3. Stock – name of the recommended stock
  4. Time Frame – the time frame of investment for the recommendation. This is categorised in 3 ways –
    a. Momentum – a recommendation when the target is expected to be achieved within 30 days
    b. Delivery – a recommendation when the target is expected to be achieved in more than 30 days
    c. Derivative – a recommendation which has be to traded in derivatives segment
  5. Reco. Price – the closing price of the stock on the day of recommendation
  6. Stop Loss – a level used to minimize risk and has to be implemented on closing basis
  7. Target – minimum expected target for the stock
  8. View – the position for which the recommendation has been mentioned. Can be categorised as –
    d. Buy = recommendation for buying a stock
    e. Sell = recommendation for selling a stock
  9. CMP = Current Market Price. Closing price of a stock
  10. +/- = the gain or loss in value terms in a recommended stock based on the CMP updated every day in the evening
  11. +/- % = the gain or loss in percentage terms in a recommended stock based on the CMP updated every day in the evening
  12. Comment – any special remarks that have to be conveyed to the subscriber will be mentioned under this column
  13. Position Closed Date – the date on which the position in a stock is closed
